The Saints continued minicamp, which wraps up on Sunday. Drew Brees is apparently looking good and enthusiastic. At this time last year, he was limited in the amount of throwing he could do, but not this year. Of course, it is just minicamp, where optimism gets fertilized. Anyway, here are the headlines:
A lackluster practice
No Reggie in this year's rookie class, either.
The Advocate has a nice article on the trade that brought Scott Shanle to the Saints. I remember when this was made, and how the Dallas media how Shanle wasn't really an NFL linebacker. Same for Fujita, another Cowboy cast-off. Guess those boys weren't good enough for the Tuna, but I bet they sure enjoyed grilling the Cowboys in Dallas 42-17. Good Times.
Foxsports.com has a good summary of the Saints minicamp.
Several sources are reporting that the Saints are asking Millsaps College for about $600,000 worth of improvements to the facilities that the Saints use for Training camp.
